Czech Team is the umbrella organization for all athletes in the Czech Republic that sends the best athletes to the Olympic Games every two years. After 2012 this organization started with the dynamic development of its activities, and now it runs a number of projects that support sport in the Czech Republic.
In March 2016, the YouTube channel Český olympijský tým became the largest sport-related YouTube channel in the Czech Republic. We provided unique content from the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The “Baywatch“ video shot with members of the Czech swimming team got more than half a million views, and it was even aired on ESPN. In the context of national Olympic committees, only Team USA had more subscribers after Rio 2016. In terms of the average number of views, only the channel of the International Olympic Committee could be considered an equal match for our channel.
For the Czech Olympic Committee, the YouTube channel Czech Olympic Team is the main communication tool used to target the youngest group of viewers.
